As a not-for-profit, charitable organization, the Centre for Spiritual Living, Toronto depends upon the generosity of its members, congregants and friends. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of the caring individuals who support our spiritual community. Collections are taken during Sunday service, plus the Centre for Spiritual Living provides various options for the giving of tithes, gifts, volunteering, and more to support our ministry, administration and community.

How Are Your Gifts Used?

	Gifts are acknowledged and receipted with an official receipt for income tax purposes at year end (please note: receipts will not be issued for donations under $20).
	Expenditures are confined to board-approved programs and purchases.
	Gifts are allocated to the Centre for Spiritual Living, Toronto General Fund. If a designated fund or program is established (ie: New Chairs-for-the-Centre Fund), in accordance with Revenue Canada, any gift specifically designated for such program/fund will be used for that program/fund with the understanding that when any given need has been met, donated funds will be re-allocated where deemed appropriate.

Collection is taken during our Sunday services, so you may offer your gift via cheque or cash at that time. If you would prefer to use Debit, Visa or MC, your donation can be made at the Centre for Spiritual Living's bookstore following Sunday service.

Scrambling to write a cheque during service, digging for change because you forgot to stop by the instant teller on Sunday or wondering how to offer your gift when you can't be in attendance? “Pre-authorized monthly giving” is an automated recurring tithe service that allows you to give your gift to The Centre for Spiritual Living with ease.

Pre-authorized monthly giving conveniently allows you to regularly support your spiritual community whether you are in Toronto or not. By choosing this donation route, you provide the Centre for Spiritual Living with a predictable income stream which supports our ministry, our administration and our community. You also provide critical income history that will help the Centre for Spiritual Living in the event that it we apply for a business loan or mortgage.

How Pre-Authorized Monthly Giving Works :

	Your Payment Account (bank or Visa or MC) can be debited weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
	You decide the gift amount that is right for you.
	You can set-up, cancel or modify your monthly gift at any time, by downloading and completing this Pre-Authorized Monthly Giving Agreement form.

Did you know that gifts of property (computers, equipment, office supplies, coffee and tea, etc.) are eligible for official donation receipts? Simply submit the store receipt(s) along with goods purchased to donate to the Centre for Spiritual Living and we will gladly issue a tax receipt for Donation in Kind at year end.
